Ouray, Colorado Adventure Elopement

Erika and Nick’s elopement day was incredibly beautiful and intimate, with just the two of them self-solemnizing their vows. They were so fun and easygoing, and nature cooperated too with perfect weather!

We picked them up in Bruiser and headed to a spot overlooking the mountains of Ouray, where they could exchange vows privately. There was still a fair amount of snow on the mountains in some places, so we used that to our advantage for some awesome pictures throughout the day that showed their personalities!

Driving around this part of Colorado’s Rocky Mountains, finding random aspen groves and totally gorgeous waterfalls, is what gets us SO excited about elopements! You can make the day completely how you want, not worrying about entertaining wedding guests, or everyone wanting to quickly squeeze in their 2-3 minutes of conversation with you. Nick and Erika were able to relax, go at their own pace, and ride around enjoying the scenery and getting epic photos of their experience!

Before saying goodbye for the day, we documented their adventure in Ouray with some middle-of-the-road photos, and some celebrations at Ouray Brewery (where everyone gave them awesome well wishes and congrats!)
