Lauren & Austen elopement in Telluride

Snow had been falling in Telluride for weeks, but on the day that Lauren and Austen eloped, the sun came out to be a part of their micro wedding elopement!

We met them while they were getting dressed in their hotel and drove together to the ceremony spot. The best part of where we decided to have their ceremony, was the fact that it was super easy to get to! Dad had a bad foot and no one wanted to hike forever. So I found a location that accompanied both of their wishes.

With a few directions, I got into place and Lauren embraced her Dad as he walked to present her to Austen. The snow was deep, the sun was shining and the smiles on their faces said it all… they were in heaven! With the mountains as their backdrop, Lauren and Austen said “I do” and became husband and wife! It was beautiful!

The service was officiated by Stephanie Warner and the flowers were done by Dahlia Floral! They popped some champagne, took family pictures, smoked a cigar and it was soon time to say bye to Mom and Dad. I took the newlywed couple to multiple locations to get some amazing pictures!

Elopement photography is a lot like wedding photography, except you are taking beautiful pictures of the couple almost the whole entire time! It’s what I absolutely love shooting more than anything else!

Lauren and Austen’s micro wedding was a huge success and they received their pictures within a week of getting married! A few days later, their elopement photo album was done and on its way to them!
