Ty & Elizabeth's Mini Elopement in Ouray, Colorado

This summer, there were some devastating wildfires elsewhere in Colorado (and other parts of the country) whose smoke blew into our area. We had a few elopements scheduled, and smoke or no smoke… the show must go on. Fortunately, the air quality wasn’t dangerous, so we didn’t have to reschedule anything for these couples. Like Elizabeth & Ty, we made the most of the hazy skies, being creative with the colors at sunrise! These two self-solemnized their own vows at sunrise in Ouray, Colorado.

Ty & Elizabeth were carefree and easygoing… our ideal elopement couple! We began their adventure elopement at one of our favorite spots in Ouray, overlooking the gorgeous mountains and canyon. Then we hopped in Bruiser (our newest family member, our sweet Land Cruiser) and off-roaded to higher elevations and to a secret waterfall! Hearing the rushing waterfall, while being held close by your new spouse, soaking in the morning light… there is nothing more romantic than that!

Thank you, Elizabeth and Ty, for being up-for-anything and having a blast on your wedding day!
