Christine & Matt's Fall Mountain Elopement

Christine & Matt had a beautiful elopement among the fall colors! We helped them choose a stunning mountain location for their morning ceremony. Plus, the moose we ordered was right on cue! (Just kidding, but check out the moose that crashed their wedding below!)

I can’t get over the fall colors for their elopement… they are invigorating and relaxing and fleeting all at the same time! If you’re interested in eloping among the fall colors, be sure to research the area where you’re getting married. Elevation, temperatures, and summer precipitation can all affect the timing of peak colors. Where we are in western CO, the high mountain town like Telluride and Ouray peak the last week in Sept. through the first week in October. I always wish the autumn colors lasted longer… but if they did, they wouldn’t be as special.
