Why this Wedding Photographer moved to Colorado

I’ve been a professional wedding photographer for 10 years now and it has been one of the best jobs of my life! I got to a point in Nashville TN where I was getting a little bored of shooting at all the same places. The money was good, but something was just missing.

It was when we travelled through the mountains of Colorado that the beauty of the state hit us! Seeing those mountains were absolutely magical! I turned to my wife and said “The mountains are calling us!”. After a couple years of adventure, we decided to move up to Colorado and start our wedding photography business all over. It’s not easy doing that, but here I am typing this blog out while living here in Colorado.

I am hoping that my creative style of wedding photography really takes off in Telluride and Ridgway! They are two of the most beautiful places on earth and I am glad to be living in the area.

It wasn’t till we got here that we realized eloping was such a big deal here! If you like what I’ve shot at weddings in the past, wait till you see me with some time photographing couple in these epic mountain locations! My heart is pounding, waiting for my first elopement session here!
