We could not have asked for a more perfect day for Cara and Ryne’s Colorado elopement! In case you didn’t know, the town of Ouray is definitely the best place to serve as a “basecamp” if you plan to go off-roading in western CO. Through experience and location scouting, we know lots of ridiculous elopement locations in the Ouray area! This couple wanted a high alpine elopement experience, so we brought them to this location at 13,000 feet elevation.

Cara and Ryne traveled from Alabama to have us photograph their adventure elopement. We helped them set up a private first look at their rental, which is always an option (even if the groom rides in the front seat, while the bride is in the back until we get to the destination!) Driving around is part of the fun, and all our packages include Bruiser to take you anywhere you want to go.

After their amazing ceremony with the red mountains in the background, we drove around to some other stunning viewpoints for some epic photos.

As always we are so thrilled to work with awesome vendors for Cara & Ryne. The bridal bouquet was by Cowgirl Creations in Ridgway, CO. The beautiful hair and makeup was done by Salon Envy. Officiating the ceremony was one of our favorites, Stephanie Warner.
